Artificial Intelligence (AI): What You Need to Know Now

James R. Trimarchi, PhD., Strategic Planning Director, SVHC

James Trimarchi, PhD is an expert at the forefront of the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and neuroscience.  His educational training includes an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of New Hampshire and a Doctorate in Neuroscience from Cornell University. He has served as a consultant for both biotechnology and healthcare institutions, both nationally and internationally. Author of more than 35 peer-reviewed papers, including review articles and book chapters, James shares his experiences, insights and knowledge at national and international conferences.  

In addition to his expertise in AI, James is trained in a variety of process improvement methods, including Six-Sigma and Lean, as well as specific training and expertise in negotiations. This session will focus on the basics of AI, benefits and threats of the technology and how it can be used in our daily lives, as well as global trends in its development.
